Your ability to engage with others through the spoken word defines your impact as an individual!
So far this year JCI Liverpool has delivered a number of events to help you improve your Public Speaking skills, and this month we are pleased to announce that we will be providing you with the opportunity to compete against others in a fun and safe environment. Developing your Public Speaking skills is one of the most powerful things you can do to boost your confidence, visibility and career prospects.
The 2 hour JCI Liverpool Public Speaking Local Competition is being held on 18th July, from 6PM, and will provide the opportunity for budding Public Speakers to come along and deliver a 7 minute speech and receive some valuable feedback. The venue is Hill Dickinson’s office at No.1 St. Paul’s Square, Liverpool. Join us for a drink at the pub afterwards.
The event is open to both members and non-members, and is not restricted to those who attended the training. The topics for the first 2013 JCI Public Speaking local competition are;
– To me freedom of speech means…..
– Do we have gender equality in the UK?
– Is JCI the leading global network of young active citizens?
– This country relies on its army of volunteers!
– An Englishman’s home is his castle
